Refunds

Cancellations and refunds.

These rules cover the Retracement Studio, the Extension Mapping Clinic, and Private Chart Mentorship. They follow the way those sessions are actually delivered.

How a seat is paid

There is no separate deposit on top of the fee. The published fee holds the seat once it arrives by bank transfer, after we have confirmed the seat by email. Refunds, when due, go back by bank transfer in Korean won to the account that paid, within ten business days of our written agreement that a refund is due.

Retracement Studio

If your written cancellation reaches us at least seven days before the first Tuesday, the fee is refunded in full. After the first evening has been held, evenings already attended are kept as delivered. If you cancel before the third evening, the remaining unheld evenings are refunded at half their share of the fee. From the third evening onward, the rest of the term is treated as committed and is not refunded, except where we cancel.

You may move your seat once, without a fee, if you ask at least 48 hours before the Tuesday you will miss and another chair is open on a later week of the same term. A second move is a conversation, not a right. A no-show is treated as an evening attended.

Extension Mapping Clinic

A written cancellation at least five days before the Saturday is refunded in full. Inside 48 hours the fee is kept, because the print run and the seat count are already fixed, unless we are the ones who cancel. The clinic is a single sitting, so it cannot be halved. If you miss the morning, the fee is kept.

Private Chart Mentorship

If you cancel the whole engagement at least three days before the first hour, the fee is refunded in full. Hours already held stay delivered. An unused hour that you cancel at least 48 hours ahead is refunded at a quarter of the fee. A no-show counts as the hour held. Extra hours quoted at ₩80,000 follow the same 48-hour rule once they are booked.

Work already started and materials

Marking already done in a held hour or evening is delivered work and is not refunded. Printed swing sheets or impulse sheets for a session that went ahead are part of that session. A spare packet you bought at ₩8,000 is refundable only if it is unused and you return it at the room within seven days.

If we cancel

If we cancel an evening, a clinic, or a mentorship hour, you choose a replacement date or a refund of that sitting’s share. If a studio term never reaches four seats, we move the term and refund in full anything already paid. Illness of the instructor is handled the same way: another date or the unheld share back.

Travel quotes

A mentorship visit to a firm’s room in Seoul is quoted separately. If you cancel that visit inside 48 hours, the agreed travel portion is kept and the unheld teaching hours follow the mentorship rule above. If we cancel the visit, the travel portion is refunded with the unheld hours.
