Cookies
A consent choice, and little else.
This page explains what a cookie is, what this site actually stores, and how to clear it. The broader privacy notice is on the privacy page.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep and send back later. Local storage is a related place in the browser where a site can save a short note that is not automatically sent to a server with every request. We describe both here so the banner on this site is easy to understand.
What we use
Ponder Mosaic is a static site. Pages you read do not require an account cookie. We do not run an advertising network, and we do not load an analytics script. The banner asks you to accept or reject a single preference so we know whether to keep showing it.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| pondermosaic_cookie_consent | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected the banner. Stored in local storage, not as an HTTP cookie. Essential for keeping the banner dismissed. The site works the same either way. | Until you clear storage for this site | Ponder Mosaic, in your browser |
Essential and analytics
The consent record is the only storage we set. There is no analytics cookie and no advertising cookie. Accepting does not turn on a tracker. Rejecting does not close any page, form, or journal note.
Third parties
The typefaces are requested from Google Fonts when a page loads. That request is a font delivery, not a cookie we set. We do not embed video players, payment frames, or social plugins. If your browser blocks third-party requests, the text remains readable in the fallback typefaces.
How to manage or disable storage
Use the Reject button on the banner to record a rejection, or Accept to record an acceptance. To remove the choice, clear site data for pondermosaic.click in your browser settings. The banner will show again on the next visit. You can also block storage entirely in the browser. The pages still open.
Impact of disabling
If storage is blocked, we cannot remember the banner choice, so the note may appear on later visits. Reading, the inquiry form, and the session pages continue to work. Disabling storage does not change a seat you have already arranged by email.
